Although Guests are finally able to reenter Disney California Adventure, they cannot yet enter Disneyland Park. So, it seems that Disney wanted to give Guests a taste of what they will soon be able to experience again as Disneyland Park begins its phased reopening next month.
Fire Up the Hot Rod Cruise the scenic winding roads of this classic attraction in a souped-up coupe.
Pick up the pace as you rumble under a small bridge and see iconic attractions like the Matterhorn in the distance. Spot Honda’s Humanoid Robot and Bird along the road.
Featuring a working gas pedal and steering wheel, each classy chassis seats 2 adults or 3 children and navigates curves and inclines just like the real thing.

Motoring Through History Autopia is the only existing Tomorrowland attraction dating back to Disneyland Park’s opening day in 1955. When the cars first took to the road, they captured America’s fascination with the latest transportation innovation, the “freeway.”
Over the years, the roadways and car styles have been updated, but the fun stays the same.
Although Guests cannot ride the attraction just yet, Disney is making sure to remind Guests that attractions will be returning shortly by placing Autopia ride vehicles at the entryway of A Touch of Disney, as well as branding them with the event’s logo. This is a fun photo op for Guests who were lucky enough to snag tickets to the sold out A Touch of Disney event!

By placing a ride that has been around since Disneyland’s inception at the front of the event, it seems as if they are bringing the magic to all Guests attending, even though they cannot yet actually see the iconic Disneyland attraction. It truly feels like a tease on what is coming in the following weeks!
