Just when we thought VelociCoaster couldn’t get any more intense, Universal has added fire to the entrance to the attraction.

For those who may not know, VelociCoaster is Universal Orlando Resort’s latest upcoming attraction. The roller coaster will feature high thrills, high G-force, as well as, purportedly, the fastest roller coaster launch in the state of Florida. Following the Jurassic World IP, VelociCoaster will have riders go on a velociraptor run where it seems dinosaurs are lurking around every corner.

Now, Bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) has taken to Twitter to showcase yet another spectacular and immersive aspect to the attraction’s queue.

If we take a look at the above photo, we can see that on both sides of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster sign are large torches. Considering the attraction should instill a slight sense of fear into the rider, having flames at the entrance caters perfectly to the immersive setting of this attraction.

This is also just another reason why the Jurassic coaster will be a fantastic option for a nighttime attraction in the Jurassic Park area of Islands of Adventure. Having the fire guide you to the queue really sets the tone of danger, and at night, that will only be stronger. Plus, with the coaster’s blue lights illuminating Universal’s Islands of Adventure skyline, there will likely not be a better (and more terrifying) time to ride.

The coaster is set to debut in summer 2021. Although we have no opening day at the moment, Universal has been heavily teasing Guests as of late on the Twitter account about the coaster finally coming to life. Stay tuned to Inside the Magic for all of the latest VelociCoaster updates.
