Credit: UniversalUniversal Orlando Resort is set to open VelociCoaster in a short matter of time, and they cannot stop teasing the coaster’s arrival.
VelociCoaster will roar to life in Summer 2021, and it seems that every few days, Universal drops a new detail about the attraction. Most recently, we can see that Universal has added new signage for the coaster! Universal Orlando Resort (@UniversalORL) took to Twitter to share the new sign with a slight tease.

Universal is well aware that their Guests cannot wait to ride the new Jurassic World attraction, so by saying this is a good “sign” only continues to hype up the Jurassic coaster while making future riders continue to wait on the edge of their seats. But teasing aside, the continued progress for the coaster is great news for fans who are patiently awaiting an official date for Universal’s Islands of Adventure’s newest coaster.
The sign also is a slight Easter Egg to the plot of the attraction, as we can see that the roller coaster ride vehicle is zooming. Right underneath, the raptors are chasing closely behind. VelociCoaster will bring extreme thrills such as gravity-defying drops, the fastest launch on a coaster in Florida, and tight twists and turns, but it will also be highly immersive. In the attraction, Guests are expected to go on a raptor run by entering the paddock as Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) would have in the films.
The new signage is not the only progress we have seen on the coaster as of late. Orlando Informer (@OrlandoInformer) recently took to Twitter to that VelociCoaster is already on the Universal Orlando attractions pass.

As Orlando Informer mentioned, this pass acts as a Universal Express Pass when something goes wrong on an attraction, but it is not valid for some major E-Ticket or paid attractions. Considering that Jurassic World VelociCoaster is now listed on the pass, it seems that the coaster’s debut day could be very soon.
