Universal Hits Capacity on Valentine’s Day!

It appears that many people headed to Universal Orlando Resort to celebrate Valentine’s Day this weekend!

Universal Orlando Resort has hit capacity today, February 14, 2021, which is of course Valentine’s Day. We are not surprised as we think Universal is the perfect place to spend Valentine’s Day with a loved one, family, or friends!

Both Universal Studios Orlando and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have reached capacity. You can continue to monitor the capacity of the parks on the Universal Capacity Hotline at -407-817-8317 or via the Universal app.

Universal Orlando Resort has hit capacity today, but keep in mind that even when the theme parks hit capacity, you may still be able to enter! Those staying at a Universal Resort Hotel can still enter the theme parks by presenting their hotel key. One hotel key per adult staying in the room so be sure and get the correct amount from the front desk before heading to the parks!

Of course, Valentine’s Day is not the only big draw for Guests to visit Universal Orlando Resort, currently Universal is hosting their annual Mardi Gras celebrations. The event will run from February 6 – March 28 and will be called Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnival:

Guests will enjoy an eclectic global food fest with more than 70 delectable dishes and beverages from 13 locations around the globe. Plus, Universal Studios Florida will be decked out in vibrant décor and guests will have the first-ever opportunity to get up close with spectacular and intricately-detailed Mardi Gras floats stationed throughout the theme park. They’ll also enjoy a Big Easy bash in the streets with energetic dancers and stilt performers in extraordinary costumes, brass band musicians, countless beads and a newly-themed Mardi Gras Tribute Store stocked with new merchandise that will give guests the perfect look for this epic celebration.
