If you are looking for a more traditional Valentine’s Day with your significant other, Universal is the perfect place to be. When I think of Valentine’s Day I think of a romantic dinner with a great atmosphere. Universal CityWalk offers a ton of restaurant options for you and your loved one!

My recommendations? Vivo Italian Kitchen for a delicious meal in a romantic setting, or Big Fire Grill for the delicious food and upbeat atmosphere. You can make reservations on the Universal Orlando app so grab them quick before they are gone!

Family and Friends

Want a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with family and friends? Here is an idea! Enjoy a day a Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park for the thrilling attractions that will make you wish your day never had to end.

Islands of Adventure is home to the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction that is perfect for families who are looking for something thrilling but accessible for most ages. The attraction is located in Hogwarts Castle, and what is more perfect for Valentine’s Day than a castle filled with magic? Once you get off of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey you can grab a delicious Butterbeer to add some sweetness to your Valentine’s Day.

Mardi Gras

Want to forget all about Valentine’s Day and just have fun? Head to Universal Studios for their annual Mardi Gas Celebration! Typically Universal is known for its Halloween Horror Nights event that is held from September to October every year. However, Mardi Gras is an incredibly fun event that deserves the same recognition as Halloween Horror Nights.

This year the event will run from February 6 – March 28 and will be called Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval and is included in the price of admission.

Guests will enjoy an eclectic global food fest with more than 70 delectable dishes and beverages from 13 locations around the globe. Plus, Universal Studios Florida will be decked out in vibrant décor and guests will have the first-ever opportunity to get up close with spectacular and intricately-detailed Mardi Gras floats stationed throughout the theme park. They’ll also enjoy a Big Easy bash in the streets with energetic dancers and stilt performers in extraordinary costumes, brass band musicians, countless beads and a newly-themed Mardi Gras Tribute Store stocked with new merchandise that will give guests the perfect look for this epic celebration.
