How you doin’?

Marvel’s WandaVision is features everything we miss about sitcoms and classic television of yesteryear, and fans can’t get enough of Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision. However, one actor in the series looks uncannily similar to another sitcom star and fans can’t unsee it.

Marvel’s first streaming series, Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, debuted on Disney+ in January 2021 and quickly garnered rave reviews from both critics and Marvel fans alike. Though the highly anticipated The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was initially scheduled to be Marvel’s first series on the streaming platform, coronavirus-related production delays meant that WandaVision ultimately debuted first.

Despite not knowing a lick about what the heck is happening in the topsy-turvy WandaVision story, audiences are on the edge of their seat to see what happens next on the tv series.

Marvel alums Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany star as the eponymous characters, with Randall Park (Agent Jimmy Woo) and Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis) making exciting returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, there’s one actor that fans can’t stop talking about.

No, it’s not Kathryn Hahn’s “Nosy Neighbor”; it’s the David Schwimmer lookalike.

There’s plenty of strange things going on in Westview — like Vision somehow being alive — but to many, the most bizarre thing is the one character who looks nearly identical to Ross Gellar from Friends.

David Schwimmer’s Ross is undeniably a Friends fan-favorite. Like Full House‘s Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), Friends wouldn’t be the same without Ross.

As fans try to deduce exactly what is happening on the tv series, dozens of rumors related to the show have surfaced. Schwimmer appearing in a Marvel sitcom, unfortunately, isn’t one that makes a lot of sense.

Phil Jones, Vision’s old co-worker at Computaional Inc., first appears in the series in episode one as we see him being fired for not throwing a good enough dinner party for his boss. Played by actor David Lengel, he could pass as David Schwimmer’s twin brother or a young Ross Gellar. Other than sporting an impressive mustache, the character lays pretty low in the classic sitcom series. He pops up here and there, but whenever you see that mustached man, all many fans can see is Ross Gellar.

I mean, come on. That has to be David Schwimmer in disguise. I, like many other teenagers, fell into the Friends zone and became obsessed with the show. Even those who aren’t familiar with Friends can’t help but picture Ross Gellar starring alongside Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).

Thanks to IMDb, we can put the David Schwimmer theory to rest. However, I won’t stop singing the Friends theme song after seeing Phil Jones.
