Marvel’s WandaVision is getting closer and closer to reaching its Disney+ debut! The series will act as the first piece of the puzzle that will link Marvel’s Phase 4 to additional series and feature films.
However, still not much is known about the WandaVision series as a whole. The show does seem to take place in different time periods throughout episodes from the teasers that have been released. There has also been plenty of speculation about castings and possible Marvel characters making their debuts during the series — but there is still plenty unknown when it comes to WandaVision.
Marvel only has this brief synopsis of the series on their webpage:
Marvel Studios’ captivating new series “WandaVision,” which premieres in late 2020 on Disney+. Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, “WandaVision” marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
When it comes to casting, we are aware that Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will reprise their roles as, respectively, Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Vision. Also joining the confirmed cast are Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Kathryn Hahn (Agnes), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo), and Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau).
BUT… there still seems to be someone missing, and there’s been plenty of speculation about him. There have been multiple rumors about Quicksilver making a return and Marvel fans have been hopeful! It seems like whether actor Aaron Taylor Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) or Evan Peters (20th Century X-Men Franchise) reprises the Quicksilver role, the MCU fans are here for it.
Even with Quicksilver’s appearance being nothing more than a rumor right now, there seems to be some truth to the theory. Thanks to ComicBook.com, we learned of an Instagram post in which leaked information about a WandaVision Funko POP! duo-pack. This pack will be available during the Emerald City Comic Con 2021 in Seattle and features Vision and Quicksilver!

ECCC 2021 Wandavision 2pk: Vision & Quicksilver Rumors of Quicksilver showing up might just be true Will only announce this pop for now until maybe next year Nothing confirmed yet until funko announces it #funko #funkopop #funkopops #funkocommunity #pop #pops #serlent #serlentpops #serlentnews #eccc #emeraldcitycomiccon #comiccon #eccc2021 #wandavision #quicksilver #vision
It’s important to remember that neither Funko nor Marvel has confirmed this in any way, so this still all remains speculative. However, this Instagram account is known for their Funko POP! leaks, so it is very possible!
The closest we have gotten to the truth about a Quicksilver return actually comes from another leak. An audition tape was leaked to ComicBook of young actor Nick Fisher. In the audition, Fisher is playing a twin named “Tim” and reads that he’s going to Halloween as the “cool twin”. This is relevant because we’ve seen in the trailers and in series photos of both Wanda and Vision dressed up, for what appears to be Halloween, in their traditional Marvel Comics attire.
Still, Marvel is keeping everything about the WandaVision series tightly under wraps. So, unfortunately, we still might not know if any of this is concrete until it’s debut in December.
