Longtime Disney Cruise Line fans and passengers cannot wait to set sail on a Disney Cruise once again, and the company is now showing how they have adapted to the “new norm” as they are eager to welcome passengers aboard.

In case you missed it, Disney Cruise Line has already announced that they had to cancel all sailings through March 2021, meaning it will be shut down for at least one full consecutive year.

As a result of the ongoing pandemic, Disney Cruise Line, along with the cruising industry as a whole, was forced to suspend sailings in order to comply with the CDC and its “No Sail” order. Though the order was lifted on October 31, 2020, the CDC made it very clear that the cruising industry will need to meet several health and safety requirements in order to earn a “Conditional Sailing Certificate” and allow passengers back on the shops.

In a newly released TV spot, you will notice a few different clips where kids are seen wearing face masks, reflected in screenshots above and below. This indicates that Disney Cruise Line will be making it a rule that Guests must wear face coverings while aboard their ships once they are permitted to sail again. Keep in mind, however, that Disney Cruise Line has not yet released the health and safety protocol that will be in place when they resume operations.

The video advertisement also showcases different aspects of the ships, including Guests sitting down at a dinner table inside Animator’s Pallette, without face masks. This isn’t unusual as even in the Disney Parks, once seated at a dining table inside a restaurant, Guests can remove their face coverings so they can eat and drink.

It is more than likely Disney Cruise Line will be implementing similar rules as the ones in place at the Disney Parks around the world, including face coverings to be worn, keeping a safe social distance from others, enhanced hand sanitizing stations located throughout the ships, limited capacity,  and more.

It’s safe to say Disney Cruise Line is eager to once again welcome back Guests once they are able to do so. In the meantime, it looks like they are gearing up by ensuring their ships are safe and showing viewers what cruising could look like once they make their return.
