It appears that Disneyland is doing some maintenance on their monorail despite the park not being open.
Disneyland is reopening in short phases, Downtown Disney has been reopened since July 9, but in newer updates, Disney Vacation Club Members have been able to book rooms at the Grand Californian. Also, Disney’s California Adventure will be reopening Buena Vista Street for guests to enjoy shopping and dining.
We have a video of the work going on at the monorail thanks to Disney fan @thecalibae who shared this on Instagram:
It is great to see that despite Guests being unable to experience attractions at the Disneyland Resort, maintenance continues! We are sure things will be in tip-top shape when Disneyland is finally able to reopen. We don’t exactly know the purpose of this work, however, so do keep that in mind.
We cannot wait to see what the next phase of reopening will be for Disneyland, and we have some ideas on what could be next. You can read more about that here.
Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, is locked in a battle with the California government over the reopening of Disneyland. With no sign of a set reopening date in sight, it is good to see that Disneyland is doing everything they can to bring Cast Members back to work and Guests back to the resort.
In addition to all of the commotion going on around the Disneyland Resort, Christmas decorations were spotted on Main Street, U.S.A, inside of Disneyland Park! We are not sure what this means but it is a positive sign for sure. We have photos showing all the decorations and all the details right here!
