It wasn’t long ago that we shared Disney announced the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail will be slightly reimagined so more guests can enjoy the sights of the holiday season while also remaining safe and socially distanced.

Typically, Guests are able to view several different Christmas trees, each themed on a different Disney movie or Disney Park along one single pathway, which can certainly become packed very quickly. This year, Disney Springs has spread out the Christmas trees among the “lands” of the shopping and dining district — And they are now calling it the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll.
Some were a bit nervous about how exactly this would pan out since it could become a problem trying to find your favorite themed tree or could be an issue for those who cannot walk long distances. Well, we decided to test out the new Christmas Tree Trail experience at Disney Springs for ourselves and here’s what we thought!
Disney Springs’ Christmas Tree Stroll
When we were recently visiting Disney Springs, we saw several different trees scattered throughout the district. It wasn’t long before we ran into a sign that said “Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll Redemption Location”. This location was over at House of Blues Restaurant and Bar, however, we were informed there were several locations throughout the district.

Once inside, we asked a Cast Member how to go about completing the new Christmas Tree Stroll, in which she explained it’s much like Remy’s Hide-and-Squeek at EPCOT — You get a map with stickers and walk along the district, finding which trees are located in which places.

Once you find a tree, you place the appropriate sticker in its spot on the map. In the photo below, you can see the start of the map, prior to us finding any trees. There are a total of 12 different trees, ranging from Frozen to The Lion King to Disney Parks and even The Haunted Mansion!

We walked around for about a half-hour, looking for each of the trees and admiring the incredible ornaments and decor on each one. Without any spoilers as to where each tree is located, here are the beautifully themed trees you will find at this year’s Christmas Tree Stroll.

Honest Review
Overall, I really enjoyed the new Christmas Tree Stroll experience. Though there are notably fewer themed trees than in years past, and even though you have to walk around to find each one, it is a really fun scavenger hunt that each Guest can complete at their own pace. There is no rush and no line waiting to look at the trees behind you like there was in the past when it was all in one confined space.
Added bonuses? First, if you complete your map with all of the stickers in the correct space, bring it back to a redemption location for a fun prize! Secondly, turn your map over and you will find a ton of discounts available for various restaurants and shops within Disney Springs!
