The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail for 2020

The 2015 holiday season saw the debut of the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs. Originally featuring a handful of trees, the trail holiday event has grown over the years to more than 22 Disney Springs Christmas trees with magical movie theming and the tiniest Disney character and ornament details. More than one million guests have already traipsed the trail!

This year for 2020, Disney Springs Guests will walk around Disney Springs to discover Christmas decor around every corner. They will happen upon a collection of elaborately-decorated and spread out Disney Christmas trees spread throughout the retail, dining, and entertainment district. Below is a time-lapse video of the Cast Members hard at work as they turn the holiday magic on for Disney guests.

Disney Parks Blog messages that the original densely packed Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs will instead be spread out among the “lands” of Disney Springs instead of being laced together on one end of the district. This certainly will be more distant, but problematic if you are looking for a certain holiday tree.

Disney has not only included a little themed tree map this year at our favorite shopping arena but turned it into a complimentary scavenger hunt. A new holiday family tradition allows you to “safely wander and explore the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealthThe scavenger hunt is complimentary and collateral can be picked up from select retail stores, Disney Springs Welcome Center, and Disney’s PhotoPass Studio. As you explore, don’t forget to take advantage of special discounts and offers available on the back of your map from select retail and dining locations. Once you complete your scavenger hunt, bring it to a redemption location for a special surprise.” Pro tip: grab your redemption at the start when you grab your map, then present it to your group when you’re done hunting!

Later each evening, as dining winds down, Guest visiting the aptly named Town Center area, the West Side, and the Landing areas will “encounter a magical snowfall [our favorite falling snow snoap], adding an extra touch of wonder to their holiday shopping.” Let’s hope it brings the magic of Main Street U.S.A. and Sunset Boulevard to Disney Springs. We’re excited to see the merriment of the winter wonderland!

If the snowy wonderland of Disney themed trees wasn’t enough holiday magic for you at Disney Springs, consider visiting Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. This air stunt-themed watering hole will once again be turning into “Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar ” complete with “delightful holiday decorations and a delicious limited-time menu filled with festive favorites.” Now, if only Reggie would wear this tiny Santa hat we bought him!!
