In just one short week, the holiday festivities will be in the full swing of things at the Walt Disney World Resort. As the Disney villains finish out their celebrations this weekend and make their way into hibernation until the next spooky season, Disney prepares for a more joyful holiday spirit to fill the chill of the air.
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort
Okay, so it’s probably not going to be all that chilly over in Orlando, Florida. But we do know that the iconic Magic Kingdom Christmas tree was already spotted yesterday getting ready to be installed, and it’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Each of the Disney Properties at the Walt Disney World Resort brings its own unique quality to the Christmas season, but one constant still remains, the gorgeously decorated Christmas trees that you can find all over.
Disney holiday photos are typically so special with characters and their cute Christmas outfits, but the Christmas trees are easily one of the other most photogenic scenes at the Disney Parks. This year you won’t be able to hug your favorite Disney character during a photo, but don’t worry, because they’re still coming through in Christmas cheery Cavalcades through EPCOT and other spots at Disney World.
So where can we find all the Disney Christmas trees this year for your perfect holiday family photo? The answer is everywhere! Photos are from previous years, but we know the Christmas trees will be just as stunning this year!
Walt Disney World Theme Parks
In past years, you’d be able to find one of the many giant Christmas trees and maybe even more than one at each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks. Each of them special and possessing the Disney magic and dressed with beautiful ornaments and the colors of Christmas lights. Maybe it can become a photo scavenger hunt to take a picture in front of every Christmas tree at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Disney Springs and Walt Disney World Hotels
You’ll also be able to find Christmas trees at locations all around Disney Springs as well as the Disney Resort hotels.
From Disney Parks Blog:
“Shifting gears to Disney Springs, guests will discover Christmas around every corner as they come across a collection of elaborately-decorated Disney Christmas trees spread throughout this retail, dining and entertainment destination. In the evening, guests visiting areas within Town Center, West Side and The Landing will encounter a magical snowfall, adding an extra touch of wonder to their holiday shopping.
Disney Resort hotels will also be decked out for the holidays, with their lobbies featuring iconic trees and other festive flourishes.”
There will be a somewhat modified version of the Christmas Tree Trail this year. It won’t be like year’s past because instead the trees will be scattered throughout Disney Springs instead of altogether in one area.
