'Mickey Mouse Funhouse' Just Announced for Disney Junior

Oh Toodles! Wait. Go overdrive! Hmm. Still not quite right. Oh, I know! It’s time for some more fun with Mickey and the gang. Today, the official Disney fan club D23 shared that Disney Junior has begun production on a brand-new Mickey Mouse television series that will be called Mickey Mouse Funhouse.

The Enchanted New Series

From the makers of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, The Lion Guard, and so many more, Disney Junior presents the new series Mickey Mouse Funhouse. The animation appears as though it will be similar to other Disney Junior Mickey Mouse shows, so look forward to some major cuteness. The new show will feature Disney’s classic Sensational Six as the stars in the spotlight. Disney’s littlest fans can go on adventures with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto as they see examples of “imaginative play” and learn valuable lessons about “friendship, creativity, and ingenuity.”

We’ve Got Ears, Say “Cheers” to These Details

According to Joe D’Ambrosia, senior Vice President of Original Programming, and General Manager, for Disney Junior, there’s plenty of magical fun packed into Mickey Mouse Funhouse. Joe D’Ambrosia says:

Preschoolers around the world love Mickey Mouse and friends, and we are eager to showcase these beloved characters as they are transported to magical new destinations in each episode, encouraging kids to expand their own worlds using their imaginations… We can’t wait for our young audience to meet Funny, who is a dynamic and playful addition to the treasured world of Mickey Mouse.

Miska Moska Mickey… House? Maybe Funny is the adorable Funhouse with personality. Hopefully, Funny will be like Toodles for a new generation of young Disney fans.

Mickey Mouse Funhouse is expected to debut in 2021, ready to bring tons of fun and magic to preschoolers and families. The television show will air on Disney Junior. However, the announcement does not say if or when this new show will be on Disney Plus. With a dance break, fun lessons, and imagination, we’re sure that this new show will have families saying, “Hot Dog! What fun!”
