Credit: Zach RiddleyRemy’s Ratatouille Adventure is going to be EPCOT’s latest attraction in the France pavilion in World Showcase and will be filled with lots of family fun! It will be a trackless 4D dark ride attraction, which is based on the 2007 Disney Pixar animated film, Ratatouille.
In case you missed it, the new Ratatouille theme park ride is set to shrink down riders to the size of a rat. Riders will then have to scurry along with Chef Remy through Gusteau’s Restaurant in adorable rat-shaped ride vehicles. Disney riders can expect to see a variety of characters from the Disney Pixar film, including Chef Remy of course, along with the sounds, sights and smells of the restaurant. There will be special water and heat effects included in the ride.
And now, thanks to Disney Imagineer, Zach Riddley, we have a sneak peek at what the marquee for the theme park attraction will look like!

(Hello! I’m excited to share this behind-the-scenes first look of the attraction marquee for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!)This original sculpture is the result of a creative collaboration between Pixar and Imagineering artisans, and features Chef Remy surrounded by one of his favorite things – food! This photo captures the critical moment in the marquee’s creation as gold leaf is applied by hand, bringing shimmer and detail to one of our last finishing touches to the exterior of the attraction. I can’t wait to see this marquee completed and installed over the attraction’s main entrance where it will come alive with nearly 200 individual light bulbs!!
You can see in the photo, the detail is just absolutely incredible as it features beautiful gold accents and of course, Remy front and center. We can’t wait to see the final product!
