Another day, another handful of aerial photographs from the TRON Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster that we cannot take our eyes off of.
As the canopy begins to be added to the outdoor section of the attraction, @bioreconstruct shares some pictures from above showing the latest construction updates:
“Aerial look at Tron, where the canopy is under construction over the outdoor swoop of track. At lower left is prep for a concrete floor. Up and above the arrow at right is a pair of supports likely for the attraction entrance signage.”

“Arrow in the aerial is at supports for likely the Tron entrance sign. Track seen at top of the building is where the roller coaster returns indoors. It launches outside at lower left, under the canopy frame seen.”

While it is easy to see pieces of construction like the outdoor swoop of track and the exterior building while in the parks, barriers block almost all views of construction activity at ground level that these aerial pictures are able to provide.
We at Inside the Magic have labored to stay on top of this story with each construction milestone, sharing previous pictures of the progress including doing some major rubbernecking on the Tomorrowland Speedway.

The TRON Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster will be the latest addition to the Magic Kingdom, copying the original in Shanghai Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. It is still expected to be completed in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2021.
