Recipe: Pumpkin Spice Soft Serve Sundae From Disney World

With the unfortunate news of Walt Disney World canceling Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, it has left many disappointed. However, just because Disney World won’t be hosting the popular annual event doesn’t mean you can’t recreate the spooktacular fun in the comfort of your own home.

We already shared an article on how to bring Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party home this fall season, but now we are sharing how to bring some of the delicious flavors into the kitchen as well!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is filled with lots of unique snacks and desserts, including the popular Pumpkin Ice Cream Sundae. Follow this recipe from Cooking with Janica and you can recreate this delicious snack for your next movie night.

Pumpkin Spice Soft-Serve Sundae

Disney describes this treat as: “Pumpkin Spice Soft-Serve Sundae (Available at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies) – Served as a sundae topped with whipped cream, caramel, and sprinkles”.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

Ice cream maker method — If you have an ice cream maker, follow these directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
  2. When combined, pour into ice cream maker and churn according to instructions.
  3. You will want to pour it into your mold in order to freeze until it is set (usually a few hours).
  4. When ready to serve, top with whipped cream, caramel, and sprinkles. You can pair with Mickey waffles if you want to create a waffle sundae!

No ice cream maker method — If you don’t have an ice cream maker, follow these directions:

  1. Put the cream in a chilled bowl and whip until stiff peak forms.
  2. Slowly stir in the condensed milk, then add the pumpkin pie spice mix and vanilla.
  3. You will want to pour it into your mold in order to freeze until it is set (usually a few hours).
  4. When ready to serve, top with whipped cream, caramel, and sprinkles. You can pair with Mickey waffles if you want to create a waffle sundae!
