Earlier this year, Splitsville had made the decision to terminate all employees so that workers could collect unemployment benefits during the unprecedented Disney Springs and Disney World closures because of the pandemic. Now, employees are able to go back to work.
If you’ve been wanting to get a taste of Disney magic and you haven’t been to Disney Springs yet since it reopened, Splitsville Orlando is a great place to stop by. The restaurant and bowling alley will be operating with limited hours, implementing social distancing, and having all Guests use single-use menus. It would seem that they are trying to reopen as safely as possible.
In addition to bowling at Splitsville, you can also take a ride in the aerophile hot air balloon or an amphicar at the Boathouse. Even during this time, there is so much to do at Disney Springs, making it an excellent destination where Guests can stay safe and enjoy a summer day. Just remember that health and safety come first.
Disney Springs has been enforcing strict health and safety measures since reopening on May 20. All Guests must have their temperatures taken before entering Disney World’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district. There is a limited capacity, and all Guests must wear appropriate face coverings at all times unless they are eating or drinking. Additionally, all Guests must abide by social distancing measures, and there are Cast Members at Disney Springs specifically there to help (in addition to the storm troopers patrolling the area).
