Walt Disney World is gearing up for their phased reopening of the theme parks this week. Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will both be reopening to guests with a valid park pass reservation on July 11.
Park pass reservations filled up quickly as guests are anxious to return to the Most Magical Place on Earth, but it looks as though Walt Disney World is either opening up new park pass reservations for previously filled dates, or people with previous reservations are now cancelling those reservations which is opening them up to new guests.
As we previously reported, Disney’s Animal Kingdom was booked for Resort guests for the following dates:
- Sunday, July 12, 2020.
- Monday, July 13, 2020.
- Tuesday, July 14, 2020
However, now looking at the calendar, there is availability for all three of these dates, which you can see in the screenshots we took below.

We also recently reported that Disney’s Hollywood Studios was booked up for Friday, July 17 for Resort guests, however, looking at the calendar today, it is now showing availability, which you can see reflected in the screenshot below.
Keep in mind, if you plan on visiting Walt Disney World Resort, there will be safety protocols and several other changes put into place to keep guests and cast members safe. Social distancing measures will be put in place, excessive cleanliness, encouragement of mobile orders, plexiglass, and as we previously mentioned, the elimination of character meet and greets. Also being eliminated from the parks are parades and fireworks along with other similar entertainment that draws a crowd, and much more.
