It is official: all park reservations for the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom on its reopening day (July 11) made available to Disney Annual Passholders are now taken. This news comes just minutes after the Walt Disney World Resort made it possible for Annual Passholders to start making reservations for its phased reopening.
An Inside the Magic reporter was able to confirm the news on the My Disney Experience website as she attempted to make her own theme park reservations. As you can see, both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are unavailable for annual passholders.
At the time of writing, Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are completely booked from July 11-July 14. There is still availability on July 15 at this time.
A few days ago, Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ reopening day reservations were all claimed on the same day Disney’s theme park reservation system launched for resort guests. However, Inside the Magic found out that Walt Disney World has made more passes available for Annual Passholders.
As you can see, now Disney’s Hollywood Studios has availability for Annual Passholders at this time.
Walt Disney World Theme Park Reservation System Recap
Those who still need to make their theme park reservations should also remember that in order to secure your Disney Park day you need to have and do the following.
- You need a My Disney Experience account, and you need to link your valid theme park ticket or annual pass (be sure to link the tickets and passes of all of the people in your party so you can make a park reservation at the same time). You also need to link your Disney Resort hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account, if you have booked a stay at a Disney hotel.
- Once you’ve logged into your My Disney Experience account and linked your ticket, you’ll have access to a calendar that will show the available reservation dates for each theme park.
- If you have a multi-day ticket, you will be required to make a park reservation for each date of your visit. Again, as a reminder, families and friends can link their tickets together and look to arrange theme park entries at the same time.
- At this time, Disney says that Guests will only be able to select one park per day. Visiting more than one park per day will be temporarily unavailable upon the reopening of the theme parks due to attendance limitations.
