Walt Disney World is gearing up for its phased reopening — Magic Kingdom park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open the gates on July 11 while EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios plans to open on July 15! The Resorts on property also will be opening up in phases with each resort having a different reopening date.

And now, Walt Disney World released a brand new video that focuses on health and safety. Disney Parks Blog recently stated, “As we count down to the phased reopening of our theme parks, we’re looking forward to welcoming our fellow cast members home to begin training in preparation for reopening.”

Disney also shared “Many of us are returning to places that look and feel a little different, and collectively, we’re dedicating thousands of hours to health and safety training because we know that it will take all of us working together to responsibly create the magic once again. ”

Along with these statements, Disney also shared a video that highlights Cast Members returning to work as well as the new health and safety protocols the parks will be following. Check out the full video below!

Remember that when Disney World reopens to guests next month, things at the theme park will look a lot different. Social distancing measures will be put in place, excessive cleanliness, encouragement of mobile orders, plexiglass, and as we previously mentioned, the elimination of character meet and greets. Also being eliminated from the parks are parades and fireworks along with other similar entertainment that draws a crowd, and much more.
