As July quickly approaches, we are getting more and more excited at the prospect of the most Magical Place on Earth reopening.

By the time July comes around, Walt Disney World would have been closed for longer than anyone would have thought possible. With Universal Orlando opening its gates a few weeks ago, Disney has all the time they need to get ready to welcome guests again on July 11th for their Disney Vacation.

In the meantime, we are savoring all the information we can get directly from the resort and today Disney shared a magical sunrise over Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom.

Check out this early morning sunrise below:

A Walt Disney World sunrise is one of my favorite things about staying on property, just sitting on the balcony and watching the sun come up as I relax, knowing that I am in my happy place.

Though I usually take my sunrises on the balcony at Animal Kingdom Lodge, there has been a couple of occasions where I have been at the parks early enough to see the sun come up over the castle or the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The sunrise was shared as part of Disney’s #DisneyMagicMoments campaign to keep the magic alive while all the parks have been shut.

Of course, when the parks do reopen, there are going to be quite a few changes to take into consideration when comparing to your last visit. With mandatory mask-wearing, increased social distancing and no parades, character meet and greets or fireworks, Walt Disney World will be very different in the short term.
