Disneyland Paris had to temporarily close due to the current global pandemic months ago, but we may be inching closer to an official reopening!

Just last month, Disneyland Paris executives, CEO Natacha Rafalski, COO Daniel Delcourt, and VP of Parks Operations Marco Bernini, were all seen on property as they were guided through the theme park as they discussed potential reopening procedures and protocols. Because of this, we knew Disneyland Paris was thinking about how and when they will be able to reopen their theme park gates.

Well now, it looks as though Disneyland Paris is inching even closer to reopening with the latest update! The official update to the Disneyland Paris website, which was just updated 13 hours ago, reads:

Can’t wait for Disneyland Paris to reopen? Neither can we!

We look forward to welcoming you back to Disneyland Paris and will announce our official reopening date as soon as possible.

Our reopening plans will reflect a cautious approach intended to prioritize the health and safety of our Guests and Cast Members while delivering our signature Disney guest experience.

With your family and friends, immerse yourselves once again in the many different worlds within our Parks & Hotels and rediscover the magic of Disney: from thrilling rides to fun themed restaurants, and of course, our beloved Disney Characters.

If Disneyland Paris were to open up soon, it will be the third Disney theme park to announce a reopening date. Shanghai Disneyland officially opened its gates to guests on May 11, with preventive measures and safety protocols in place including temperature screening tents prior to entry, QR codes for entry, and social distancing measures within the theme park.

Disney Springs in Walt Disney World also initiated a phased reopening on May 20 while Walt Disney World Resort will open up their theme parks to guests beginning in mid-July — Magic Kingdom park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will reopen on July 11 with EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopening days later on July 15.
