The event is scheduled to run on select nights from now until July 10, 2020, and consists of the most epic Villain takeover of the Magic Kingdom yet. Like the other “after hours” events across Walt Disney World, the Magic Kingdom closes to regular guests at 10 pm, and all guests who purchased the event tickets get to stay and take part in an exclusive three-hour party from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. They provide a dash of extra magic to your Disney vacation and should not be confused with Extra Magic Hours (which are free for Disney Resort hotel guests).

Meaning, in the case for Disney Villains After Hours, guests have from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. to reserve FastPasses for their favorite rides. Once the “after hours” event begins, all rides are stand-by only.
