Disney guests who were visiting the park on February 27 were in for a real treat when Disneyland surprisingly ran a special “first look” route of the new upcoming daytime parade, Magic Happens, which you can read more about here.
Inside the Magic even had the opportunity to live stream the surprise event, which if you missed it, you can check out here!
But today, February 28, marks the official debut of the new parade along with brand new merchandise and delicious food items. If you are looking for a refreshing snack to munch on while enjoying the new Magic Happens parade, stop by the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor.
The Dulce de Leche Sundae
This ice cream sundae comes served in a waffle bowl with a double scoop of dulce de leche ice cream. It is then topped with bananas, caramel, a Mickey sugar cookie, whipped cream and, of course, a cherry!
The Dulce de Leche Sundae is currently being served at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor at Disneyland Park, so be sure to swing by before grabbing a spot for Magic Happens.
Disneyland Park also debuted a new Magic Happens inspired cupcake called The Royal Cupcake, inspired by Princess Aurora, which you can read more about here.
Magic Happens Parade
With brand new magical floats featuring characters from Moana, Frozen 2 and Coco, (and of course the one and only, Mickey Mouse) along with original music co-composed by Todrick Hall, the new Magic Happens parade brings together both modern and classic Disney characters and stories to life, making it fun for all ages.
