United States President Donald Trump is heading to Walt Disney World this December.

This week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that President Trump will be returning to Central Florida for the third time in 2019. And this visit, he’s headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Governor DeSantis shared with reporters that President Trump will be in Orlando this December to headline the Florida state Republican Party’s annual major fundraiser. The event was originally scheduled for the month of November, but due to internal issues within the state party, the fundraiser had to be postponed to the following month.

According to local Florida news station Spectrum News, sources say that the Republican Party’s Statesman’s Dinner is scheduled for December 7 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the Walt Disney World Resort’s flagship resort hotel adjacent to Magic Kingdom. The Grand Floridian is known for being one of the most upscale and elegant resort hotels on all of Disney World property, so it’s not surprising for such a high profile event headlined by President Trump to be held there.

This December trip to Orlando marks the third Central Florida trip for President Trump this year. Back in June, he kicked off his 2020 campaign at the Amway Center, and on October 3 he held a Medicare event in The Villages. He is also heavily relying on Florida for his re-election, so it makes sense for this event to be held in Orlando.

If you are planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort on December 7, or if you will be staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on that day, we suggest preparing for higher levels of traffic and possible travel delays due to extra security precautions that may take place.

However, even though sources tell Spectrum News that the Republican Party Statesman’s Dinner is being held at the Grand Floridian, at this time nothing is for sure. There’s also no word yet on whether certain areas of the resort will be closed and restricted to only party attendees, although, as with other private events hosted on Disney property, we’re sure that Disney will offer proper signage to guests and visitors of the resort.
