The Maleficent Frappuccino is part of the Halloween celebration already underway at Disneyland in California. Starbucks stores inside the parks at Disneyland will feature the eerie concoction leading up to Halloween.
We love it because though it’s the perfect blend of blueberry and vanilla bean creme blended with dragon fruit (how fitting), it’s also got a mysterious look that’s all its own.
The purple color of the drink is made of vanilla bean creme, blueberries, and dragon fruit. It’s then topped with matcha whipped creme that’s green in color.
Though the colors of the new Maleficent Frappuccino aren’t exactly the evil villain’s colors, the contrast between the blueberry and dragonfruit mix and the matcha whipped cream makes us think of the Mistress of All Evil. But there’s so much sugar in this frappuccino, it’s hard to think of it as evil.
The only thing we might change about Maleficent’s new frappuccino at Starbucks is finding some way to incorporate her trademark black horns.
Only a few days ago, Inside the Magic brought you news about the Cinderella latte from Starbucks. And we’ve even heard rumors of a drink inspired by the villain in “The Princess and the Frog,” Dr. Facilier. The Dr. Facilier Elixir is rumored to be in the same Starbucks stores with Maleficent’s new drink, so we’ll tell you more about that drink when we see it ourselves. I wonder what’s in Dr. Facilier’s drink…
We can’t wait to try Maleficent’s new frappuccino this Halloween season. Will you be trying one yourself?
