Hersheypark in Pennsylvania has announced an exciting new dark ride gaming experience coming in Summer of 2019. Reese’s Cupfusion will transform guests into security agents to protect Reese’s Central.
Reese’s Cupfusion will be similar to attractions like Men in Black: Alien Attack at Universal Studios Florida and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Walt Disney World, in that it will arm riders with gear to fend off intruders, this time defending Reese’s Central.
But don’t take my word for it. In a new video from Hersheypark, Reese’s Central Chief of Security Commander Cup explains everything.
WATCH – REESE’S CUPFUSION COMING TO HERSHEYPARK:
Commander Cup needs agents to be on the lookout for Mint the Merciless and the League of Misfit Candy, who are trying to steal the Crystal Cup for their own evil purposes. Be sure to keep an eye out for these candies:
In order to ensure the safety os Reese’s Central and that the world is never deprived of Reese’s, rider will board Reese’s Spirit-powered patrol cars and be equipped with Commander Cup’s patented “Amplifiers,” which will focus and direct a beam of Reese’s Spirit to blast away those evil candies.
The new attraction will challenge guests to power the factory by activating targets, stun intruders by blasting them with their “Amplifiers,” and collaborate with fellow agents to try to earn extra points. Rack up a big enough score and you can become a Reese’s Legend in the ride’s Hall of Fame.
No specific opening date has been set for Reese’s Cupfusion, but it is planned to open and welcome new agents in Summer 2019. Be sure to check back for more information on the new attraction as it’s announced. For tickets and more information on Hersheypark, be sure to visit their official website.
