Universal Orlando Resort’s new nighttime lagoon show “Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration” officially opened tonight at Universal Studios Florida.

Guests now have a brand-new way to cap off their day in Universal Studios as they enjoy an “epic cinema under the stars” in the heart of the theme park.

WATCH – “UNIVERSAL ORLANDO’S CINEMATIC CELEBRATION:” 

The show seamlessly blends panoramic water screens accented by multi-layer water screens, pyrotechnics, lasers, projection mapping and more than 120 dancing fountains to transform the lagoon and surrounding buildings into a vivid celebration of beloved characters from Universal attractions and films.

A dramatic dinosaur projection appears on swirling mist above Universal Orlando Resort’s fountain, illuminated by vibrant red and blue lights at night, capturing the excitement of the resort’s Cinematic Celebration.

Step into Universal Orlando Resort’s Cinematic Celebration, where Minions come to life on shimmering mist screens, surrounded by dazzling fountains and brilliant night lights in an unforgettable nighttime water show.

And guests can watch this all come to life in an all-new dedicated viewing area designed specifically for the show.

Guests gather around the lagoon at Universal Orlando Resort’s Cinematic Celebration, taking in the dazzling nighttime water and fireworks spectacular as bursts of vibrant red and purple lights illuminate the sky above the park.

Some of the more iconic moments in the show come from the famous “Harry Potter,” “Jurassic World,” “Fast & Furious,” and “Despicable Me” films. Some of which include spells, terrifying roars, high-octane action and mischief from everyone’s favorite Minions.
