Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, and Daisy Duck may be the faces many guests instantly think about when they picture Disney, but there’s another member of the Sensational Six who has quietly become one of the most entertaining characters to spot at Walt Disney World. Goofy has spent decades turning simple moments into comedy routines, whether he’s tripping over his own feet, dancing around a parade route, or accidentally causing chaos during an attraction.

Unlike some Disney characters who stay tied to one look or one location, Goofy seems to appear everywhere. That unpredictability has become part of his charm. Guests never really know which version of Goofy they are about to run into during their vacation, and honestly, that is part of what makes finding him so much fun.
That excitement gets even bigger every year on May 25, which officially marks Goofy’s birthday.
Disney fans visiting Walt Disney World on May 25 have plenty of opportunities to celebrate with the iconic character because Goofy can currently be found throughout multiple parks, hotels, dining locations, and entertainment offerings across property. While Mickey Mouse may still be the official face of Disney, Goofy has quietly built one of the largest footprints anywhere inside Walt Disney World.
One of the easiest places to meet him is at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Guests visiting Tusker House in the Africa section of the park can meet Safari Goofy during character dining. This version of the character trades his usual orange-and-green look for safari gear that fits perfectly inside the park’s atmosphere. Tusker House has become one of the most popular character dining experiences at Walt Disney World over the years because guests can meet multiple Disney characters while enjoying a large buffet inspired by African flavors and traditional Disney breakfast favorites.
Animal Kingdom honestly feels like one of the best places for Goofy because his over-the-top personality blends perfectly with the adventurous atmosphere around the park. The safari version of the character has become especially popular with families looking for unique Disney photos.
EPCOT also gives guests a chance to meet Goofy, though that location is currently becoming part of an even larger summer offering.
Guests can currently spot Goofy inside CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT. However, Disney recently closed the space on May 12 as preparations continue for the new Cool Kid Summer experience launching May 26. Disney describes the temporary offering as “Goofy’s ultimate playground,” and the experience is expected to feature DJ dance parties, games, and interactive entertainment throughout the summer season.
The offering will run through September 8 and includes activities with names like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks. Disney appears to be heavily leaning into Goofy’s chaotic energy for the experience, which honestly makes perfect sense for the character.

EPCOT has become one of the biggest transformation stories at Walt Disney World over the past several years, and CommuniCore Hall continues to evolve as Disney tries different entertainment concepts inside the space. This latest Goofy-themed version may end up becoming one of the more family-friendly additions during the busy summer months.
Hollywood Studios also continues giving guests multiple ways to find the famous Disney character.
On Grand Avenue, guests sometimes spot Goofy alongside Max, creating one of the more underrated character interactions at Walt Disney World. Longtime Disney fans love seeing Max appear in the parks because the character does not always receive the same level of attention as members of the classic Sensational Six.
Hollywood & Vine also gives guests another opportunity to meet Goofy during character dining experiences. Depending on the season, the character appears in themed outfits that rotate throughout the year. That seasonal approach keeps the interactions feeling fresh even for frequent Disney visitors.
Hollywood Studios honestly may be one of the best parks for character energy overall right now. Between Disney Junior offerings, Pixar appearances, Star Wars interactions, and classic Disney characters, the park constantly feels alive with entertainment. Goofy naturally fits into that atmosphere because his personality thrives around movement and comedy.
Magic Kingdom remains another major location for Goofy fans.
Guests can currently find him around Storybook Circus dressed in his Great Goofini attire. While Pete’s Silly Sideshow remains closed, Storybook Circus still gives Goofy one of his most recognizable themed looks anywhere on Walt Disney World property.

The Great Goofini version of the character feels almost perfect for Magic Kingdom because it captures the classic cartoon-style humor Disney built around Goofy decades ago. The circus aesthetic, bright colors, and playful atmosphere all fit the character naturally.
Magic Kingdom also gives guests another major Goofy experience through The Barnstormer roller coaster. While the attraction is designed for younger guests and families, the Goofy theming helps make it feel memorable instead of just another small coaster. His influence is all over the attraction, from the queue to the stunt pilot storyline.
Even guests who never step inside a character line can still find Goofy throughout Walt Disney World.
At EPCOT, the massive Goofy topiary remains one of the featured displays during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which continues through June 1. The topiary has become a favorite photo stop for guests walking through World Celebration during the festival.

Disney Springs visitors can also stop by Goofy’s Candy Company, which remains one of the more recognizable candy locations on Disney property. The store gives guests a chance to create custom treats while surrounded by Goofy-themed merchandise and decorations.
Meanwhile, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway continues featuring Goofy in one of the attraction’s funniest sequences. His appearance inside the ride perfectly captures the same unpredictable personality Disney fans have loved for generations.
The fun extends beyond the parks, too.
Several Walt Disney World Resort hotels currently offer opportunities for guests to meet Goofy during dining experiences. At Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Cape May Cafe features the character in relaxed beach-style attire. Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort continues showcasing Goofy in his chef outfit, which has become one of the most recognizable Disney dining character looks over the years.

Disney’s Swan Resort and the Four Seasons Resort Orlando also offer experiences where guests may run into Goofy during breakfast offerings and character meals.
That flexibility is honestly part of what has helped Goofy stay so relevant for so many decades. Mickey Mouse will always be the company icon, but Goofy often feels more relatable because he embraces failure, chaos, and awkward moments instead of trying to appear perfect.
Kids laugh at him because he acts ridiculous. Adults laugh because they sometimes feel exactly like him during stressful Disney vacations.
One minute he is dancing around EPCOT. The next, he is pretending to fly a circus stunt plane at Magic Kingdom or leading games inside CommuniCore Hall. Disney has found ways to use the character almost everywhere without him ever feeling repetitive.
So while May 25 may officially celebrate Goofy’s birthday, Walt Disney World honestly feels like it celebrates the character nearly every single day of the year.
