While Mickey Mouse may still be the official face of Disney, Goofy has quietly built one of the largest footprints anywhere inside Walt Disney World.
One of the easiest places to meet him is at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Guests visiting Tusker House in the Africa section of the park can meet Safari Goofy during character dining. This version of the character trades his usual orange-and-green look for safari gear that fits perfectly inside the park’s atmosphere. Tusker House has become one of the most popular character dining experiences at Walt Disney World over the years because guests can meet multiple Disney characters while enjoying a large buffet inspired by African flavors and traditional Disney breakfast favorites.
Animal Kingdom honestly feels like one of the best places for Goofy because his over-the-top personality blends perfectly with the adventurous atmosphere around the park. The safari version of the character has become especially popular with families looking for unique Disney photos.

Guests can currently spot Goofy inside CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT. However, Disney recently closed the space on May 12 as preparations continue for the new Cool Kid Summer experience launching May 26. Disney describes the temporary offering as “Goofy’s ultimate playground,” and the experience is expected to feature DJ dance parties, games, and interactive entertainment throughout the summer season.
The offering will run through September 8 and includes activities with names like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks. Disney appears to be heavily leaning into Goofy’s chaotic energy for the experience, which honestly makes perfect sense for the character.
EPCOT has become one of the biggest transformation stories at Walt Disney World over the past several years, and CommuniCore Hall continues to evolve as Disney tries different entertainment concepts inside the space. This latest Goofy-themed version may end up becoming one of the more family-friendly additions during the busy summer months.
Hollywood Studios also continues giving guests multiple ways to find the famous Disney character.
On Grand Avenue, guests sometimes spot Goofy alongside Max, creating one of the more underrated character interactions at Walt Disney World. Longtime Disney fans love seeing Max appear in the parks because the character does not always receive the same level of attention as members of the classic Sensational Six.
Hollywood & Vine also gives guests another opportunity to meet Goofy during character dining experiences. Depending on the season, the character appears in themed outfits that rotate throughout the year. That seasonal approach keeps the interactions feeling fresh even for frequent Disney visitors.
Hollywood Studios honestly may be one of the best parks for character energy overall right now.
