One of the most exciting developments in the MCU is the return of Matthew Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox). Introduced in the Netflix series Daredevil, Murdock made appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo. Now, he is promised to get his own Disney+ series with Daredevil: Born Again.
This has made fans speculate that other Marvel superheroes from the Netflix series will soon return, including Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Luke Cage/Power Man (Mike Colter). And if a certain hint is to be believed, Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones) is about to make his return as well.

On March 28, actor Finn Jones uploaded an image as a story on his Instagram account. It was a picture of his travel bag, which included clothes, a copy of The Neverending Story, and the final issue of Power Man and Iron Fist from Marvel Comics. While he could just be reading the comic for fun, fans have since taken this as a hint that he has returned to the role.
This goes along with a recent rumor that Iron Fist will somehow be involved with the sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). However, this hasn’t been confirmed, and if it’s true, Finn Jones hasn’t been confirmed to return as the character.

On top of this, Iron Fist wasn’t the most popular series, with many people complaining about the lack of originality. If Marvel Studios were to bring another character from the Netflix series back, this is a strange place to start. Because of this, more rumors have circulated that Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwik) will take on the mantle instead.
That being said, if he does come back, this will be an exciting moment for fans of the Netflix Marvel universe, especially those who loved The Defenders. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are fan-favorite characters for a reason and would be a welcome addition to the MCU.
