Disneyland Resort reportedly fired a Disney cast member who repeatedly masturbated on theme park property. According to his coworkers, the man’s behavior went unpunished until leadership caught him in the act.

Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort employ more than 100,000 cast members. They keep the magic alive, staying true to Walt Disney’s vision of impeccable customer service with a smile. The overwhelming majority of Disney cast members would never behave inappropriately or violently at work, but with so many employees, outliers are unavoidable.

In July of 2022, authorities arrested a Walt Disney World Resort cast member in a child sex predator sting. Zachary Hudson, a Disney bus driver at the time, sent explicit messages and a nude photo to an undercover detective who he believed to be an underage girl. “Age is just a number,” he wrote to the officer that he believed to be a 15-year-old.

Another arrest took place in Central Florida in June of this year. Paul Viel allegedly moved to the Sunshine State to work at Walt Disney World Resort, where he could spend time with children. He was later arrested in a child sexual abuse material (CSAM) bust, initially charged with 540 offenses, and later faced 999 counts of child pornography and related crimes. Sheriff Grady Judd called Viel a “sadomasochist” and hinted that some of the CSAM involved children as young as newborns and “battery.”

Perhaps the most infamous allegations targeted the former Chief Creative Officer at Pixar Animation Studios, John Lasseter. Female coworkers reported a pattern of “grabbing, kissing, and making comments about physical attributes” over more than 15 years.

No charges were filed. Lasseter took a short sabbatical before voluntarily leaving The Walt Disney Company, later heading the animation division at Apple.

As for the Disneyland Resort cast member, it’s unknown if authorities were involved. A former coworker recently shared their experience with his “creepy” behavior.

“There was [cast member] who was masturbating in the [cast member] bathrooms constantly,” Reddit user u/majaja99 wrote. “When I left I heard they finally caught him.”

No public records about a male Disneyland Resort cast member masturbating at work are available. However, if accurate, this wouldn’t be the first incident of its kind.

In 2017, a Walt Disney World Resort cast member was arrested for pleasuring himself in a customer waiting room at a car dealership. In 2015, another Disney cast member was arrested for indecent exposure at a Walmart.

Disneyland Resort didn’t comment publicly on these allegations. Please report any inappropriate behavior you witness at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney, and Disney Resort hotels.
