A power outage at Disneyland in California is causing rides to shut down, even with Guests aboard.

Many Disneyland Guests are taking to Twitter to share that they are at the Parks today, December 15, and can confirm the power outages have caused ride breakdowns. Twitter user ABF said they are stuck on Rise of the Resistance, Tweeting:
Stuck on rise of the resistance @Disneyland. Guess there is a power outage at the park

Additionally, if you look at the Disneyland app, none of the rides currently have posted wait times, indicating all of the attractions are still closed as 2:36 p.m., which you can see in the screenshot below.

At this time, we do not know what caused the power outage or when the rides will be back up and running, but Inside the Magic will update you as we get information. We also suggest checking in with a nearby Cast Member or the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date wait times.

This is not the first unusual event to occur at a Disney Park within the last 24 hours. Over at Walt Disney World in Florida, late last night, fire trucks and ambulances were seen driving down Main Street, U.S.A. after receiving a fire call. It was later confirmed by Disney and Reedy Creek that the fire was a small one, and was put out with a fire extinguisher. For more information on the fire at Magic Kingdom, visit our website here.
