A little Broadway magic has arrived at Universal Studios Florida—and it’s only here for a limited run. Elphaba and Glinda, the beloved witches from the musical phenomenon Wicked, are back for a rare appearance, and fans are already lining up to experience it before it vanishes.

Guests can catch the enchanting duo near the front of the park at Wicked: The Experience, now through August 10. The space has been transformed into the perfect backdrop for fans to interact with the two characters who made “Popular” and “Defying Gravity” part of the pop culture lexicon. Whether you’re drawn to Elphaba’s mysterious charm or Glinda’s bubbly optimism, you’ll get a chance to see both personalities brought to life with stunning detail.

Elphaba arrives decked out in her iconic all-black ensemble, complete with broom and hat, while Glinda sparkles in her flowing pink gown and carries her trademark wand. It’s a meet-and-greet that’s more than just a quick hello—it’s a chance to step into the world of Oz.

Universal hasn’t released an official daily schedule, but the line forms outside the attraction early, and you’ll want to plan ahead if this is on your must-do list. Given how limited the window is, it’s best to check park schedules and social media updates on the day of your visit to see when the witches will be greeting guests.

This limited-time return follows a seasonal debut last year, which coincided with the opening of Wicked: The Experience. That interactive attraction has since become a popular photo op and fan stop. The reappearance of Elphaba and Glinda now ties directly into the growing buzz for the upcoming movie Wicked: For Good, the second installment in Universal’s ambitious two-part adaptation. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21, 2025, with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande stepping into the emerald-hued spotlight.

Universal is clearly embracing the excitement surrounding the movie, offering fans of the franchise a special way to celebrate ahead of time. Similar character appearances have taken place at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan in recent years, but having both Glinda and Elphaba back in Orlando is something of a rarity.

For fans of Wicked, this meet and greet is a dream come true. And for theme park lovers who enjoy catching hard-to-find characters, this is one of those “don’t-miss” moments. It’s not every day you get to rub elbows with two Broadway legends in full costume—especially ones that might just sing a little magic into your day.
