Tiana’s Bayou Adventure premiered in Bayou Country at Disneyland Park in November 2024, months after its sister attraction at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park.
The Splash Mountain retheme replaced the controversial Song of the South (1946) theme with characters from The Princess and the Frog (2009). Princess Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), Mama Odie (Jenifer Lewis), Louis (Michael-Leon Wooley), and Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos) invite guests to join in a New Orleans-style musical celebration!
On Monday, Disneyland Resort shared a video of Stitch crash-landing into Disneyland Park and exploring the Disneyland70 festivities ahead of the theatrical premiere of Lilo & Stitch (2025). He even takes a ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! Theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) posted the video on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Disneyland70 festivities began last week and continue through summer 2026. New event offerings include the “Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” starring Duffy and ShellieMay, the “Tapestry of Happiness” projection show, and the interactive “World of Color Happiness!” nighttime show. Returning offerings include the Paint the Night electrical parade, the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” parade, and the Wondrous Journeys fireworks. On Disneyland Park’s actual birthday, July 17, a final song verse by the Sherman brothers will debut on “it’s a small world”, and “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will debut at the Main Street Opera House. The show features the first-ever Walt Disney animatronic.
