A merchandise location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is showing signs of damage again, more than 30 months after it partially collapsed, narrowly missing guests. Walt Disney World Resort took over a year to begin repairs on the building, and construction is ongoing. However, some of the partially completed work is already in disrepair.
On September 26, 2022, a sign and doorway fell off the Keystone Clothiers building on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The incident occurred during park hours, but fortunately, no guests were walking under the doorway when it collapsed. Construction walls appeared in the days after the incident, blocking Disney Park guests from entering Keystone Clothiers through the damaged entrance. One year after the collapse, crews installed green-painted plywood in place of the old sign and removed the construction walls. Some Disney Parks fans called the fix a “Six Flags” solution.
In February 2025, construction walls reappeared around the damaged Keystone Clothiers entrance, and crews began a more extensive repair on the collapsed area. Guests were once again blocked from using the infamous doorway.

Work has progressed over the past few months, with faux stone archways and golden ornamentation to match the building’s aesthetic. However, according to BlogMickey, some of the new features are showing signs of damage.
The bulk of the disrepair appears atop the doorway, where crews added a film resembling green marbled stone. Photos show the wrap bubbling, either from incorrect installation or using a material incompatible with the Florida heat and sunshine. There are also multiple visible holes in the same archway, likely from ornamentation that was added and swiftly removed.

Keystone Clothiers remains open during the ongoing construction–guests can use one of the other entrances. The Hollywood Boulevard merchandise location sells children’s and adult clothing, including some inspired by Star Wars and Marvel Studios.
