According to one guest’s social media report, they noticed the smell during their trip in early March 2025, after visiting the cantina twice in the same week. Describing the odor as “foul” and distinct from the typical sour or bar-like smells commonly associated with drinking establishments, the guest highlighted how the scent was strong enough to detract from their enjoyment of the experience.
“I’ve been many times since they opened, and this was the first time I noticed it,” the guest commented. “We went twice that week, and the smell was there both times. Whatever the cause, it’s not good!”
