A YouTube and Instagram influencer recently came under fire for twerking in front of families at Disneyland Resort. A video posted on social media showed a group of Toy Story (1995) characters “calling out” the guest at Disney California Adventure Park.
Last week, Dani Jackel (@danijackel) shared photos and videos from her visit to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The Disney Park guest’s less controversial posts showed her posing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and eating elotes.
I swear I’m not a Disney adult🤥

However, outrage erupted when Jackel shared a reel of herself twerking along to the Toy Story toy soldier marching band on Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park. “Was just trying to have a little fun at Disney🤷🏻♀️,” she wrote.

In the video, one of the toy soldiers yelled, “I said ‘get down,’ not ‘get down,'” seconds after Jackel started twerking.
“I got called out,” she said.

The Disneyland Resort guest and her friends found the incident amusing, but commenters felt otherwise. They bashed Jackel for dancing inappropriately at a family-friendly theme park.
“There are kids in this place,” @santiagomnrq wrote. “Have some decency.”
“Twerking at Disney with families there does seem low,” @grmdaniel agreed. “Why there?”

Some social media users suggested that Jackel should face consequences for her actions, including getting kicked out of the Disney parks.
“Be careful – Disney has a whole other set of laws,” said @night.owl.39.
“Shameful act!” @abheet.ahuja replied. “Should have been thrown out ! It’s NOT a strip club! Disneyland is for children!”

Still, others said there was nothing wrong with Jackel’s dance moves.
“For people complaining that there’s kids around,” @josephmaniacup commented. “I’m sure they’ve seen worse.. in 2024 lol.”
