There’s something truly magical about walking under the entrance tunnel, reading the immortal words, “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy,” and stepping foot into Walt Disney’s dream brought to life.
While each Disney Resort is special, there’s just something different about Disneyland Park. There’s that little extra magic that you just can’t get at places like Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, Hong King Disney, and Shanghai Disney.

Every day, thousands of guests head to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District, ready to have some fun, make some memories, and shop and eat to their heart’s content. They meet some of their favorite characters, enjoy seasonal specialties, and ride really fun attractions.
Unfortunately, no matter how many people just want to have fun, there are always some people who seem determined to try to ruin the day.

On August 31, guests crowded into Disneyland and California Adventure, ready to kick off the holiday weekend with Mickey Mouse and his friends. Halloween is already in full swing, so the parks are full of decorations, Jack O’Lanterns, and specialty foods and drinks. Guests can also enjoy the Halloween Screams fireworks show and ride Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Sadly, just before 11 p.m., guests were forced to evacuate part of Adventureland as police and Disneyland security swarmed the area. According to videos and multiple social media posts, the police were forced to take an unruly guest to the ground and arrest him.

X (formerly Twitter) DisneyworldVacationer said that they were not entirely sure why the arrest was being made. However, they did hear that there had been an earlier altercation in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Allegedly, a guest was seen inside Galaxy’s Edge running away from another person, shouting profanities and sexually explicit phrases at them.
Other videos revealed that it did not appear that only one person was involved in the Adventureland chaos. A woman was also seen being escorted out of Disneyland Park. Multiple Disneyland security guards were seen walking beside her and behind her as she made her way out of Adventureland and down Main Street, U.S.A.
Sadly, this is not the first time that a guest has been arrested while spending time at Disney, and it will not be the last.
Earlier this summer, a corrections officer was fired from his job after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife and young child at Walt Disney World’s Transportation and Ticket Center.
In February, a man visiting Disneyland Resort was arrested and taken out of the theme park after a young woman was seen crying and appeared to be distraught. Witnesses said that they did not know what caused the original altercation. However, the man appeared to be very drunk, and it was difficult for him to get off the ground.
If you ever see a guest acting violently or dangerously, immediately inform the nearest cast member or Disney security guard of the situation. Do not attempt to confront the guest yourself.
Disney has a zero-tolerance policy for violence or abuse in its theme parks. Cast members and security have no problem removing misbehaving guests and banning them from visiting the parks in the future.
