Every good Disney day ends with a nighttime spectacular, and one park is switching things up for Earth Month.

As is typically the case in April, Disney parks around the world are introducing a few temporary additions to celebrate Earth Month – a month dedicated to celebrating our planet and raising awareness for environmental causes.

According to DLP Report, one of the most significant additions is coming to Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris. The park will debut a new nightly National Geographic pre-show named “ourHome,” which will allegedly feature “scenes and images inspired by National Geographic explorers.”

🌍 In April for #EarthMonth, Disneyland Paris will present a nightly National Geographic “ourHOME” pre-show on Sleeping Beauty Castle, highlighting scenes and images inspired by National Geographic explorers. Exact premiere date to be announced.

For now, we don’t have an exact premiere date. However, it’s likely to debut sooner rather than later, considering Disney’s Earth Month celebrations typically only run for the month of April. It’s unclear whether this will run before or after the nightly drone show Disney’s Electrical Sky Parade, which is also performed before the park’s fireworks, Disney Dreams!

“ourHome” is the theme for all of Disney’s Earth Month celebrations in 2024. At Walt Disney World, guests can enjoy special Earth Month food, as well as draw animal characters at The Animation Experience and take limited-time shots with PhotoPass around Animal Kingdom. The park – which opened its gates for the first time on Earth Day in 1998 – will have its own special celebrations during Earth Week, April 21-28, 2024, which will include rare character sightings.

At Disneyland Resort, guests can take advantage of a new photo-op inspired by National Geographic’s docuseries Secrets of the Octopus. The Animation Academy in Disney California Adventure Park will also teach guests how to draw animals connected to the series.

Meanwhile, Shanghai Disneyland will host Celebrate Earth, an Earth Month fair, in Disneytown from April 19 to April 22, 2024.
