Credit: Warner Bros.An actress best known for her work in Harry Potter has reportedly been cast for a surprise role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to industry insider Daniel RPK, Natalia Tena – who played Auror and Order of the Phoenix member Nymphadora Tonks in four Harry Potter movies, starting with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) – was cast in a “mystery Marvel Studios role,” and has already filmed her scenes for the project.

While he declined to confirm the said project, realistically there is only a handful of movies and TV shows in either production or post-production at Marvel right now: Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), Captain America: Brave New World (2025), Thunderbolts (2026), and the Disney+ shows Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, and Wonder Man.
Marvel being Marvel, it could be any of these projects. However, fans are convinced that Tena will appear in either Deadpool & Wolverine – Marvel’s first (and only) cinematic release of 2024, which is said to be stuffed with unexpected cameos – or Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, either as a variant of Deadpool or Agatha Harkness herself.
Other than Harry Potter, Tena previously starred in Game of Thrones where she played Osha – a wildling who serves the Starks – for 16 episodes. She also recently appeared in John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023).
She’s not the only Harry Potter cast member rumored for a role in the MCU. Fans have long hoped that Daniel Radcliffe (who famously spent over a decade playing the Boy Who Lived) could step into the franchise to play another variant of Wolverine, taking over from Hugh Jackman for future installments.
Radcliffe himself denied these rumors in 2023 when some theorized that his recent body transformation was prep for the role. “I got buff because I am obsessive, and I want to… You’ve seen my parents, they’re like insane fitness people,” he explained during a Vanity Fair lie detector test. “So that’s just been passed on. But no. No Wolverine. Flattered, but no.”

The year prior, he told GQ magazine something similar when asked about the rumors. “I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way so I say something different, and that sets it off again,” Radcliffe said. “I should just never open my mouth. I just don’t ever want to get locked into something that I am not sure I will be able to love the same amount the whole time.”
