Walt Disney World Resort is entering its final couple week stretch of Spring Break, meaning parks will begin restricting guests as more days sell out ultimately. Already, the first few days of April are done allowing guests to enter this Disney World park.

Disney World – Magic Kingdom Sold Out for Entire First 4 Days in April
As per the official Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, Magic Kingdom is experiencing total capacity on four consecutive days during the first week of April 2024. Tickets and park reservations are no longer accessible for Magic Kingdom on April 1, 2, 3, and 4. However, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios offer full availability for tickets and park reservations.
The availability situation for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders is more favorable, as reservations are open for all days without any current restrictions. On March 31, the capacity for pass holders at Magic Kingdom was previously reached, but reservations are now available again.
Furthermore, it’s important to highlight that on days when reservations reach total capacity, Annual Passholders retain the privilege to visit the theme parks after 2:00 p.m. without requiring a reservation. However, this exemption does not apply on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom.

High Genie+ Price and Big Spring Break Crowds
Right now at Disney World, guests are dealing with long wait times, big crowds, and expensive Genie+ options as numerous days over the last few weeks have reached nearly $40 per option for anyone looking to get onto their favorite rides faster. Even in February, Genie+, the paid subscription service at Walt Disney World Resort, was hitting over $30.
In recent weeks, ticket prices have remained relatively stable, fluctuating between $23 and $25. Guests can utilize these options to visit various attractions, including Disney Princess Encounters, Haunted Mansion, Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania, Space Mountain, Star Tours, and many more at Disney World, Disneyland Park, Disneyland Resort, and Disney California Adventure Park.
Aside from Genie+, Spring Break is in the final period at Disney World, meaning the crowds and wait times will only increase from here on out, potentially winding down as soon as the middle of April, about three weeks from now.

With so many people hitting all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, attractions crashed less than two weeks ago.
On the morning of March 20, Magic Kingdom encountered a minor disruption as four rides temporarily ceased operations. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, and Space Mountain were all unavailable when checked for wait times around 8:30 a.m. Although the precise reasons for their closure remain undisclosed, one might speculate that these attractions experienced sluggishness after being activated early in the day.
As April begins and the crowds thin out, there will be some relief on the way to WDW, but only for a short time, as the summer crowds will likely arrive sometime over the next two months. Be sure to plan accordingly!
