Accessing the Wizarding World is practically impossible for Muggles in the Harry Potter universe. Thankfully, it’s a lot easier in the real world. Whether it’s The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, Harry Potter: Visions of Magic in Cologne, Germany, Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross Station in London, the Jacobite steam train in Scotland, or the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest, you’re never too far from a Harry Potter experience.
One of the most spellbinding experiences you’ll find is Warner Bros. Studios Tour London — The Making of Harry Potter, as it’s a melting pot of all those other destinations (minus the theme park attractions). Not only does it showcase artwork from the films, it also has the Forbidden Forest, and you’ll even find the Hogwarts Express and Platform 9¾.

The tour is no stranger to welcoming new additions, such as Platform 9¾, the Forbidden Forest, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Professor Sprout’s Greenhouse, and Number Five, Privet Drive in Little Whinging. Now, it’s set to unleash even more magic, as WizardingWorld.com has revealed that a brand-new addition will arrive later this year.
This summer, to celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Warner Bros. Studios Tour London — The Making of Harry Potter will welcome “The Return to Azkaban,” which will include many new magical features guests can enjoy.

From May 1, celebrations for the third film in the Harry Potter series will begin. Along with a wardrobe of fresh props and costumes, expect sets that include Professor Trelawney’s Divination classroom and Professor Lupin‘s Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.
You might also wish to keep an eye on your toes as “the Monster Book of Monsters” will be going on a bit of a rampage in the Great Hall. And, of course, no Prisoner of Azkaban experience is complete without the iconic purple triple-decker Knight Bus.

The Knight Bus has been one of many staple experiences at the Leavesden attraction for years; however, from May 1 to September 4, for the first time ever, guests can step inside and marvel at its interior (currently, you can only stand in the doorway for photo opportunities).
As with most celebrations at The Making of Harry Potter, the Great Hall will also be kitted out accordingly, this time hosting the Hogwarts Frog Choir as seen in the 2004 film. Yes, “something wicked this way comes.” Check the official website for any other information.
While the film series continues to prove incredibly popular, Warner Bros. is planning to develop a new shared universe based around the upcoming Harry Potter reboot on Max (it will be interesting to see how The Making of Harry Potter will incorporate the upcoming television series). Meanwhile, rumors of sequels to the hit game Hogwarts Legacy continue. Another video game titled Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions (TBA) is also in the works, and a new Harry Potter-themed land titled the Ministry of Magic is set to open at Universal Studios’ Epic Universe in Orlando.
