More than a year after it was released in theaters, the worst Marvel movie in history is “finally” debuting on Disney+, surprising numerous fans.

Disney+ is home to hundreds, if not thousands, of movies. This includes dozens of classics from Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Animation, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel Studios.
However, not every film is created equal. For every Mary Poppins (1964), The Lion King (1994), Little Mermaid (1989), Toy Story (1995), and Jungle Book (1967), there’s The Haunted Mansion (2003), Home on the Range (2004), and The Jungle Book 2 (2003). Now, Disney can add another infamously terrible Marvel film to the list of flops.
It’s Officially Morbin’ Time on Disney+

Although it was released in 2022, Morbius hasn’t made its way over to Disney+. This makes sense since the film was produced through Sony Pictures Entertainment and isn’t part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite a cameo from Michael Keaton as The Vulture. After nine months on Netflix, Morbius will finally debut on Disney+ on Friday, March 1.
While Marvel Studios is known for having consistently decent films, Sony Pictures hasn’t been as successful, with some of the worst-reviewed superhero films of all time under their banner. That being said, nothing has been as iconically awful as Morbius.

The movie features Jared Leto as biochemist Michael Morbius, Matt Smith as Lucien/Milo Morbius, Adria Arjona as Dr. Martine Bancroft, Jared Harris as Dr. Emil Nicholas, Al Madrigal as Al Rodriguez, and Tyrese Gibson as Simon Stroud.
Many consider Morbius to be one of the worst superhero films ever made, Marvel or otherwise, “boasting” a 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. It also garnered five Razzie nominations, “winning” Worst Actor for Leto and Worst Supporting Actress for Arjona. However, it seems that Madame Web (2023) may give the vampiric antihero a run for its money.
