Consider this to be your reminder that Mother’s Day is next weekend!

That’s right, May 14 is Mother’s Day, and it’s just around the corner. What better way to celebrate your Mom than taking her for a day of fun at the Disney Parks? Whether you’re visiting Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, or one of the Disney Parks from around the world, you can’t go wrong with a day full of magic for your mom.

There are lots of ways you can celebrate her, from special brunches to exclusive activities. However you choose to celebrate, make it a special day! Here are some of our favorite recommendations.

Mother’s Day Treats

As with any other celebration, Disney is releasing a slew of special treats and food offerings throughout their Parks and Resorts to celebrate Mother’s Day. In fact, they released an entire Foodie Guide about it, so you can read the whole thing to spot every single one of these limited-time offerings. For now, here are some of our favorites.

Over at Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT, you can enjoy an exclusive Mother’s Day Dessert on May 14 only. The treat is made from strawberry mousse, pistachio chiffon cake, and rosewater ganache. You can also sample a limited-time Mother’s Day Sweet Treat at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, consisting of white chocolate-dipped strawberries and a mixed berry macaron.

Or how about a Mimosa pairing? At Le Petit Café in Disney’s Riviera Resort, pair the Pistachio-raspberry Éclair with a Mother’s Day Mimosa made with Limoncello, Nino Franco Prosecco Rustico, and raspberry.

Brunch

Speaking of mimosas, brunch is the perfect meal to celebrate Mother’s Day at Disney, and you’ve got quite a few options for your meal! Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is offering an exclusive Mother’s Day Brunch on May 14 only, where you can dine on special offerings such as;

  • Floridian Eggs Benedict: Two poached eggs and a crab cake with hollandaise atop toasted English muffins served with breakfast potatoes
  • Bacon & Eggs: Maple-lacquered pork belly, smoked cheese grits, and an egg
  • Brunch-exclusive Hummingbird Bread Pudding featuring pineapple, banana, and coconut bread pudding with candied pecans, salted caramel, and cream cheese ice cream

There are also tons of other delicious restaurants to stop for brunch. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs offers house-made doughnuts, biscuits, chicken, french toast, eggs, and more. You can also try the Wine County Brunch at Wine Bar George, which serves small plates, cheese boards, classic brunch entrees, and of course, fantastic wine and cocktails. Not to be left out, you can also head to Raglan Road, Maria and Enzo’s, Boma, Topolino’s Terrace, Olivia’s, and more!

Special Events

Looking to put together something really special for your Mom? Head to the Mother’s Day Luau at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs. This ticketed event includes a Hawaiian-inspired poke and sushi bar, garlic shrimp, baby ribs, desserts, and more, which you can dine on while enjoying performances from a live band and hula dancers. All the food is included in the price! Purchase tickets here.

If you want something a little more low-key in Disney Springs, there are several weekend offerings that are available through Mother’s Day, including;

  • Visit Town Center to write mom a heartfelt message on “bloomable” postcards. When you’re done, simply drop your note in the nearby mailbox (we’ll provide the stamps). When the postcard arrives in the mail, not only will mom be able to enjoy your note, but she will find seeds in the paper itself. Plant these seeds and flowers will grow—presenting her with a beautiful gift.

  • Create wonderful memories when you strike a pose in front of the Mom! photo op in Town Center.

  • Visit Disney Springs Kids Club on Saturday mornings where we will be offering complimentary face painting for the whole family in honor of Mother’s Day. Available while supplies last.

Happy Mother’s Day!
