The Flower and Garden Festival offers Disney World Guests a wide variety of experiences, from trying delicious food and drink items — like the iconic Violet Lemonade! — to checking out the famous topiaries around the World Showcase, it’s a fan-favorite event year after year.
This year, however, one shopper has noticed a fairly major mistake with the new Orange Bird Dooney & Bourke print. The high-end purse brand frequently releases Disney designs, so an error is certainly out of character.
TikTok user Danielle was “ready to buy” the bag until she realized the print had a flaw. In a video [below], she explained:
“The struggle when you are an Orange Bird perfectionist and you’re looking at this beautiful Dooney & Bourke that costs $228, until you realize there’s an error. He’s missing his stomach. What the heck? C’mon dude.”
DisneyDooney.com shared details about the Flower and Garden 2022 exclusive print:
The print features an allover design with Orange Bird on a light green background. The background also features white flowers with green leaves, while the overall print depicts Orange Bird sitting in a watering can, gardening and in a variety of poses. Spaceship Earth has taken the form of an orange slice on this handbag design. Plus, there are more orange slices and orange halves decorating the purses.
Orange Bird is a Disney character first created in 1969 and debuted in 1970 as a mascot for the Florida Citrus Commission, in exchange for them sponsoring the Enchanted Tiki Room attraction and Sunshine Tree Terrace at the Magic Kingdom theme park. Orange Bird is an animated orange canary
