Staying at a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort? Well, you’re in luck! In culmination with Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, Disney has launched “Extended Evening Theme Park Hours” for select Guests on select evenings in the Theme Parks. A popular attraction that was previously omitted from the list has now been added for Guests to enjoy.

Walt Disney World Resort is allowing Guests staying at one of the Deluxe Resorts the option to stay in Magic Kingdom or EPCOT after the Parks officially close for the day. This perk provides two hours extra on select evenings to jump on multiple rides with little to no wait time.
When Extending Evening Hours was first announced, the list of attractions available for Guests at EPCOT did not include the most popular Park attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure located in the expanded France Pavilion. Now, it seems Disney has had a change of heart, allowing Deluxe Guests to experience Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure during the Extended Evening Hours. All EPCOT attractions operating during Extending Evening Hours include:
- Beauty and The Beast Sing-Along
- Frozen Ever After
- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
- Mission: SPACE
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
- Soarin’ Around the World
- Spaceship Earth
- Test Track
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends

Keep in mind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure does not currently offer a standby line during normal operating hours. If you’d like to scurry along on the Remy ride, Guests will need to obtain a virtual queue spot via the My Disney Experience App or purchase a pass to ride via Lightning Lane. The option to now ride as a normal standby line during the EPCOT Extended Evening Hours is a huge perk for Deluxe Resort Guests.

Not a Deluxe Resort Guest? Unfortunately, Extended Evening Hours won’t work for Guests staying at one of Disney’s value or moderate Resorts. ALL Resort Guests can however take advantage of the 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry to any one of the four Disney World Parks on any day at any Park during their stay.
Have you ever taken advantage of the Extending Evening benefit as a Deluxe Guest? Let us know about your experience.
