Kendra Scott Launching "Unique New Concept" Store at Disney World - Inside the Magic

From humble beginnings — Scott designed “her first collection with $500 in the spare bedroom of her home just after her oldest son was born — the Kendra Scott brand has grown to have over 100 stores around the United States.

Now, the jewelry maven is launching an exciting “unique new concept” store at Walt Disney World Resort’s Disney Springs shopping and dining district.

According to a report by the Orlando Business Journal:

“The Kendra Scott store located in the Town Center at Disney Springs will be a unique new concept celebrating the brand’s ongoing work with Inheritance of Hope, a nonprofit organization that inspires hope in young families facing the loss of a parent due to a terminal diagnosis. For the last five years, the brand has worked with Inheritance of Hope to host an all-expenses-paid weekend retreat to Walt Disney World Resort for families facing a metastatic breast cancer diagnosis. To date, Kendra and Inheritance of Hope have hosted over 70 families for these retreats,” said a release.

The store will encompass 1,650 square feet of space and carry the brand’s jewelry and other products.

After losing luxury retailers like luggage brand Tumi and accessory purveyor Kipling amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the addition of a popular retail outlet like Kendra Scott is a win for Disney Springs. It will draw locals and tourists alike to the open-air shopping center.

The brand’s official description reads:

Our products are thoughtfully crafted in our Austin, Texas studio, pushing the boundaries of design and innovation while staying true to our principles: color, shape, material, and value.
