Due to the ongoing pandemic, several Disney Springs retail locations have been forced to close permanently. Now Kipling is, unfortunately, joining that ever-growing list.
We spoke to a representative at Kipling who confirmed the closure would happen sometime this weekend. They added that the outlet location in Central Florida would remain open, as well as the Florida Mall location. Here is a link to Kipling’s webpage for the Disney Springs location. They describe the store as:
Fall for a colorful line of designer handbags, backpacks, luggage and accessories designed for gals on the go!

Kipling offers handbags and small luggage, some of which feature Disney characters. If you would like to purchase anything from this location, do your best to get there before Friday!

Other stores that have also closed at Disney Springs are TUMI and Lucky Brand. You can read more about those closures here. The VOID, which was a virtual reality experience, also closed last year as a result of the pandemic. Only Lucky Brand has been replaced so far, as Fit2Run has taken over the space that the denim purveyor previously occupied.
However, other new stores have recently opened to help fill-in the gaps that are happening at Disney Springs. Gideon’s Bakehouse, which features half-pound cookies and offers a hot-cookie happy hour, has opened to rave reviews! Rustic Cuff has also opened — they offer a variety of jewelry.
