On November 12, the holidays at Walt Disney World will kick off and will run through early January. The Parks will be dressed to the nines in not only their 50th anniversary best, but also in their fun Christmas best. All four theme parks will celebrate the holidays, including EPCOT, where its incredible Festival of Holidays will take place starting November 26 and ending on December 30.
EPCOT will not be the only Disney World theme park offering Guests a special experience. Magic Kingdom Park will also be hosting a special hard-ticketed event called Disney Very Merriest After Hours. The brand-new After Hours party will allow Guests to celebrate the Christmas season with a ton of fun events, including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and the Club Tinsel Dance Party.
Disney is always looking for ways to make experiences more magical, and Very Merriest After Hours is no exception. Disney recently sent out an email to Annual Passholders letting them know that a stage show would also be coming to the Christmas party! Here is what Disney said about the stage show in the email.
Holiday cheer is coming to Magic Kingdom Park this season during Disne Very Merriest After Hours! Enjoy a themed parade, stage show and fireworks show, complimentary treats, lower wait times and more. Plus, Passholders save $10 on select nights in November!
Disney has not said if the stage show that will come to Disney Very Merriest After Hours will be a new one, or if the stage show will be one that Guests have seen in the past, like Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration Show that would happen during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Stage shows have not been happening at the Magic Kingdom since the theme parks reopened in summer 2020, so the Christmas stage show is a particularly exciting event. Bringing one stage show to the Magic Kingdom could indicate that others will soon be making their way back to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
