We recently reported on how the iconic Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster guitar can not currently be seen from afar and, instead, giant brown scaffolding is up.
Earlier, we did not know exactly why Disney World covered up the guitar, but now, thanks to a new permit, we can confirm what the work entails.
The new permit filed by Disney is for the location of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, specifically for the iconic guitar.
Filed to “sand, prime and paint exterior guitar icon”, the permit states that Disney is just performing generalized work for the iconic guitar at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, meaning we can suspect nothing major will change to the iconic element that sits outside of the Hollywood Studios attraction aside from a new paint job.
Inside the Magic will, of course, continue to update you as we get any new information.
We do want to note that even though suspicions of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster being rethemed have circulated the internet, Disney has not announced any retheming of this ride, but again, we will continue to update you as we get information.
